Every application must be made in writing on the CR1 form which we complete on your behalf and sent to the incumbent priest.
No permission for the erection of a headstone may be granted until a period of six months has elapsed after the date of burial or internment of ashes. This is to allow time for the earth to settle
If you want a memorial that has specifications outside the current churchyard rules and regulations it may be allowed with a Petition for Faculty, although there are certain limitations even with a faculty.
For further information and advice, including details of fees and the necessary application forms, we advise you to contact us by phone or call in to our office where our staff are happy to help you.
