Q What is the Additional inscription fee and why do we have to pay it?

A :- When an inscription is added permission must be sought from the relevant council. They then check the that the details are correct , dates etc. The fee is to cover costs of administration .


Q Will the new inscription match and follow on from the existing one?

A.:- We always match existing styles and lettering type including the size of letter with the original. We also include the existing inscription on our estimate we send  to assist you in the composition of your new inscription.

Q. We have a family grave but there is no room left on the memorial for additional names, what do we do?

A:- This is very often the case , we can supply extra vases, tablets, small books  that are made especially to suit eg.  for traditional memorials a small book or tablet can be added from matching material for the additional names, and placed in the centre of the grave.
For Lawn style memorials a small tablet can be placed in front of the headstone on the base.
If required we can completely re-surface the entire face and re-word the inscription incorporating the new one.
